If you believe the prospect of AGI is real, further believe that such AGI may become uncontrollable, and lastly believe such AGI creates an existential threat to humanity - then it becomes imperative to build solutions that will protect humanity from AGI.

This problem extends to the most democratic forms of governance that exist today - one’s based on energy.

People are calling World Coin a shit coin. And it may be - I haven’t had time to fully evaluate it’s nuances.

But I think the problem they’re trying to solve will one day become dire and very real. And in that world, I’m not convinced that even the most democratic systems we have today, ones governed by energy such as Bitcoin, will remain democratic for humanity.

This will be a real problem that they’re trying to solve.
