I was going to joking-not-jokingly compare this to Roman children chewing on lead teething toys but apparently 3 millions of these puréed “food pouches” had to be recalled in earlier this year after “dozens of children across the United States were found to be suffering from lead poisoning.”

Also we may be looking at a rising generation of children who, in addition to the standard American sugar addiction, also have a psychological aversion to chewable foods…
