Interesting, diving a bit deeper on X, after a certain level of engagement and once you pay your premium fees, you are allowed to generate revenue.

Many are using X to try to earn money and that is the cause of a lot of the slop that's on there.

Yeh, that concerns me about the potential future of NOSTR. We are built with money as part of our DNA, are we destined to produce even more slop in the future?

I suppose it depends on who controls the money.

The models are different, excluding the middle broker X for a moment.

X is driven by advertising, NOSTR is not.

X is driven by a commercial company, NOSTR is not.

But, if companies pay inflooencers for engagement to showcase their products, those inflooencers are going to build their audience through low paying slop before signing for the big buck deals.
