Leaked Government Document Shows Spain Wants to Ban End-to-End Encryption

In the near future any centralised service like Signal will be susceptible to suspension or intervention.

For this reason you must use tools like SimpleX that allow you to use your own servers.

You will have to disobey or be subdued.

Great tip! How do I find you on SimpleX?

The contacts are private not public, I would have to give you my contact link.

DdM me? You are a good signal

Thx for sharing.

Altough encryption at application or even OS level is key to protect information, I'm pretty sure that Apple, Google etc that manifacture hardware and software can still acces data prior to encryption. These fancy foto features like face recon, text recon, text to speech all depend on accessing unencrypted data.

So, the real threat is govt. accessing your data via Apple/Google.

This is going to be the decade of banning. Can’t wait to see what the dumbest thing governments try to ban is!

I think Keet by Holepunch is a good option to use your own server too

won't happen

banning E2E encryption is not only unfeasible but impossible
