I remember when the CD came out and there were a bunch of “conservatives” who insisted vinyl was better.
There is always a portion of society who rejects something better.
Probably because it was not better. CD are getting wiped out by time and light. Vinyls will be ok for hundred of years. They were just cheap but the tech was lower quality. Same for every new tech. AI will just make people dumb as Internet made people unable to write. Bitcoin will make people even more dependent to tech and infrastructure. Conservatives probably were right all along. I'm getting 70's and 80's tech back to life after being stored for a life and it works better than some new tech
I’ve heard this perspective when Navigation became a thing, I heard this when MP3’s came out, I heard this when the smart phone came out, you can take a stand and I fully understand but from my experience, these people eventually change out of need.
