Yes, in theory, but also in theory that already happened.
The plan I knew of as far back as 2001 (yes, I wrote down notes before Trump was a candidate) when we were seriously vetting Trump as a future president we figured that the Democrat party and maybe even the Republican party would be shitcanned. Also at the time we didn't know whether Trump would be more effective as a Democrat or a Republican. Eventually we figured that the Republican party would be more effective due to the quality vs quantity Washington criminal numbers. Think of the Democrats as qantity where as the Republicans are quality criminals. It was mathematically easier for Trump to run as a Republican and to gain support within the party.
Anywho... We figured that we would have to potentally have to start a new party. The names of either Patriot party and or American party came to mind at the time. I also believe the new party logo were to sport a lion rather than a donkey or elephant.
