So much doom and gloom. Omg a wallet is going away from one region oh no everything is falling apart I'm gonna have to put my children up for adoption on my lord. Guys, we are good, chill. There are other options and there will be more options in the near future. Discussion is useful doom and gloom isn't.

Yeah well it's all happening as part of larger attack on Bitcoin, specifically Bitcoin self custody and privacy tools
I think it is a matter to worry, bc they can easily do the same or worse in the EU. It's not hard for the EU to require ACINQ to KYC or other LSPs to shutdown, this causes disruptions in being able to use LN or to on-board new people, sure there might always exist other more underground options but it's a disruption. Right now if I want to unboard a business or a stranger, there is no really easy safe option to recommend that i can say just set it up and it's all good.
