I think where I want this culture to move is toward actionable indication. A like is a keystroke and requires not a further stirring of thought.

I don't want content that is liked on nostr. I want content that blooms and grows because of nostr.

A LIKE is transient impression data of super low signal.

As long as users and clients largely ignore and deprioritize them, it’s all good. They can slowly die their vestigial death.
