How one reads so many books on humanities and comes to the conclusion that we need more unprovoked coercion and violence as an answer to society's problems is beyond me.

I'm starting to get convinced that intellectual capability is not at all connected to morality.

I was under the false assumption that reading and literacy would provide a person with moral grounding.

It was naive of me.

yeah that doesn’t do it.

how we are raised makes some difference, but even that is not consistent. in the end, it seems to all come down to choice made at a spiritual level.
