Yeah, this feature is great! I downloaded the source and compiled it to get it early, Debian was behind.

I mean: the tools and Ai exist now.

It is the reason I helped make Inkscape, when a grad student at UCSD :)

There's a bigger story, was studying w Joseph Goguen , Lev Manovich and Barbara Kruger ☺

Didn't look back into it since 2020, can't find any recent info on it. Most buying guides still recommend going for single core performance so no 2D, GPU acceleration or multicore support, it seems.

There is still a major opportunity to setup something like InkscapeCorp and solve all these issues for hire

I haven't looked into that, nor had any performance issues.

yes seems quite fast

before there was a code layer that had access to graphics speedups called liboil iirc
