I came up Liberal; I am still liberally-minded

I believe every person should have free agency of their own lives, bodies, and spirits

progressive ideals should be nurtured at the fringes that push society forward; but they must not be force-fed, or (especially) mandated at the Government level

I don't recognize the Democratic party today

too many vested interests; too much hypocrisy; too much emphasis placed on gender-identity which - whether by design or not - inevitably polarizes people, precisely so you take the eye off the ball -

they are robbing us all blind
