We really have a lot to do to decouple Nostr from Bitcoin. Zaps are great and all, but in the intro of this podcast, he starts talking about Nostr and how it's a social media platform built on top of Bitcoin.

It's a damn shame, nostr has so much potential.

Kind of makes me want to write an article on nostr, but I don't really know where I would start. It would probably have to be like a what it is and what it isn't kind of article along with some opinion to make it worth reading, but I don't really know.

It just leads me to believe that a lot of people are staying away from Nostr because they think it's a Bitcoin social media app.

Are there any good clients that haven't implemented zaps? I'd think there would be a market for it for nocoiners and maybe shitcoiners

Nothing I'm aware of. I always thought if shitcoiners really caught on to nostr they could take one of any of the open source projects out there and fork it so it can include their coin.

the problem is people dont know bitcoin and nostr are protocols and you gain entry via a private key. same, same but different 🧞‍♂️🧞‍♂️
