It crashed on my first attempt (TF report submitted) then worked the second time.

You have fewer relays, which certainly helps. The biggest thing is relay reconnection times. If I reduce relays it is faster and lags a lot less. I go to post, and it can take 30 seconds to up to two minutes for my post to show up, etc.

It’s a catch 22. The issue isn’t Damus per-se, it feels like it’s relays. I don’t want to change my relay list too often.

Perhaps a low data mode that lets you select a much smaller number of the relays already on your list to use? If something like that is even an option, I’d be willing to take a crack at it over the next week or two.
