Tolstoy agreed with you 100% on Jesus.

He was an Anarchist as well as a devout Christian. He didn't believe obedience to earthly states was compatible with Salvation.

Jesus is the son of God. That is not anarchy. He is the Law. He fulfilled the Law of Moses.

We are not Jesus. We are not the Law. Anarchy is not ours.

That was Tolstoy's conclusion too. Of course, they didn't have bitcoin then.

I quite enjoy Tolstoy. But if you want a real moral case for anarchy I found Larken Rose's "the most dangerous superstition" a compelling and easier read than Tolstoy. I still often think about that book and my faith.
