Cold is important after the heat to get the cardiac rhythm going up again. Usually go for a dip in the river. Currently 11C, so only a quick dip 😉

Thx!! My experience is that temperature sensitivity depends on how long one spends between sauna and the dip as well as on the ambient temperature. Today, the second round coincided with a passing thunderstorm, so after getting out of the sauna, we spent a couple minutes just enjoying the show. By the time we got to the river, we had cooled down considerably, so I only took a quick dip… Let‘s see whether I‘ll go in for longer after the next round 🥵🥶
My biggest challenges are heights and 11C river dips - it brings back painful memories 🤣. Although, it's not difficult to understand in the end. It was all for love.
