A friend is visiting Costa Rica. One always expects to see a lot but we saw 4 Quetzal birds in a single tree and 3 sloths and over 20 tucans on a single short drive.

He definitely realises how lucky he is but for many, they visit and go away not having seen any of these things.

We should always remember that our perceptions are based on our experience and our personal experience of a the same situations or events as other people may not lead to the same perceptions. Listen accordingly!

You should have saved the tarantula to show them too😬.

What snakes do you have over there🤔. I like snakes, I used to have a Royal Python.

Boa, Fer De Lance, Coral, Cat-eye, loads of vipers and tree snakes. We saw a viper... I'll try find the photo

Ooooh, cool😁.

Green tree python🤔.

No tiny little viper. Rather venemous apparently

I just realised how small it was/is😳😂.

Yeah you're thinking more along the lines of little neighbour I had to wait to cross the road for a few months ago

That's the ticket😬. That looks like a boa. I know a lot of people don't like snakes and they can obviously be highly dangerous but I genuinely find them fascinating as a species in general.

Yes Boa. I agree. I love snakes. Keep a reasonable distance but I love looking for them. Favourite so far to see in the wild was a golden coloured cape cobra in south africa. Found a few coral snakes in the garden here too which are stunning
