Wisdom On The Web

I really loved this short story about motivation and adversity, from Alan Cohen. I asked Alan if I could publish it to my Forward Steps site and share it with you. If adversity does not put you off, it will strengthen you. If you need no recognition from the world, yet simply take deep reward from your adventure, it is worthy indeed. Les Brown said, “Wanting something is not enough. You must hunger for it”. Wayne Dyer echoed, “Motivation is when you take hold of an idea. Inspiration is when an idea takes hold of you”. If you want something enough, you will find a way to do it. (Link is below) https://www.forwardstepsblog.com/remember-its-your-baby/

Life Power Tip

Consciously seek out people or places that inspire you. Motivation and inspiration need to be managed just like any other emotion in life. You do have a choice about feeling motivated and inspired. Recall all the times that you were excited to be alive and reflect on the events that produced this feeling. Could you re-create these types of environments for yourself?

Action

Figure out what you need to do, to keep a holiday spirit.

Challenge

Define yourself by what is in your head and heart, rather than your bank account.

Quote

Every evening, write down the six most important things that you must do the next day. Then while you sleep your subconscious will work on the best ways for you to accomplish them. Your next day will go much more smoothly. -Tom Hopkins

Clearing

Clean that mess in the cupboard under the sink in your kitchen!

Question

Do you work with the Laws of Attraction or do you still work on changing external things to alter your ‘world’?

Affirmation

I choose to have energy.
