Shovel tax payer dollars away from the old guard and into new shiney objects (nasa to spacex) that distract the normie masses from the real atrocities (money printing), while creating a seemingly virtuous hill to die on (electric cars to save the planet), feeding an indignation against the working class (bluecollar folks) and a nice veneer to gloss over a morally bankrupt, greedy, gluttonous, Godless culture.
