Does anybody know if this exists? 🤔

A Nostr DM-oriented client that implements NIP-04 (Encrypted Direct Messages) and NIP-42 (Authentication of Clients to Relays) and is designed to Bring Your Own Relay?

There are several, nostrchat, blowater, and more that I am leaving behind, I recommend taking a look around nostr.net to see more alternatives On the other hand nip42 It is more a matter of the relay than of the client, it is described in the nip42 flow ( nips.be/42 ) You also have to think that you can connect to your relay if you have a certificate, normally if this does not exist the clients will not connect to your relay

With the features specified above? I doubt it.

I'm guessing you mean NIP-42. I hope now that the nostr:npub18na8n7phl8r3sz67nqh3zhdzslj24qc5ramuq9tdka4a4qhrk4pqpjnmgn bot is ripping everyone a new one clients and relays will start to implement it.

Also looking forward to get NIP-44 finalized.

But how nip 42 its gonna improve it?

It would move us from the current situation where everyone (e.g. nostr:npub18na8n7phl8r3sz67nqh3zhdzslj24qc5ramuq9tdka4a4qhrk4pqpjnmgn) can get their hands on everyone's encrypted DMs to one where only relay operators can get their hands on everyone's encrypted DMs.

Not a fix, but definitely an improvement IMO.

I see, yes it's an improvement👌

None of them implement nip42 I think, but you can always connect to your relay if you have it exposed to the internet

Well, both client and relay need to know about the NIP-42 flow 🤔 If the relay issues an AUTH challenge and the client doesn't know what do with it, it won't get the protected notes.

Yep, both have to implement the flow, nostr:npub1dww6jgxykmkt7tqjqx985tg58dxlm7v83sa743578xa4j7zpe3hql6pdnf your blowater client impments nip42?

Not yet.
