NOSTR IS CYPHERPUNK AF

There is a beautiful harmony between #Nostr and #Bitcoin that we are beginning to see flourish.

Bitcoin Devs are stifled by consensus. They do themselves no favours with how they approach changes, however I can understand the frustration of passionate people who feel restrained with adoption of some fantastic ideas.

Nostr provides an outlet for that creativity and brilliance. Here you don’t need anyone’s permission, there is no consensus, you can just go for it and the best ideas will rise to the top.

And by building on nostr you extend the usability of Bitcoin, specifically as a MoE. Adding more utility to its use as money, making the money more valuable, enticing more apps to be built to take advantage of this more valuable money with greater utility, making it more valuable…

This flywheel effect of the ecosystem growing and benefitting all participants will accelerate orangepilling in a way that we’ve never seen before. No need to have someone read a book, or dedicate hours to podcast, or understand fiat - they’ll simply be using Bitcoin in an unstoppable ecosystem where they’re free to pursue their interests without gatekeepers. ie How the cypherpunks envisioned the internet should be.

Nostr’s growth is what will open possibilities for Bitcoin development because we are going to see what *actually* needs to change, rather than just what some Devs *think* would be good to change.

Bitcoiners who aren’t on #nostr simply haven’t understood where the world is going. They’re busy dreaming about plugging hard money into fiat systems, begging permission from fiat overlords who will never allow it.

Nobody here need ask permission. There is no licensing, no PCI DSS compliance, no API permissions - and Identities can go anywhere, bring their social graph, bring their money, and plug in to whatever applications serve them utility.

Nostr is the development Bitcoin actually needed, and it’s Cypherpunk AF.
