From an article in The Verge about teens and chatbots.

"finding it easier to speak to bots than to speak to real people, and even preferring chatbots over other human beings"

Not only are chatbots going to be used more and more all over the place, they'll even be preferred by end users in certain cases. Not only by corporations running them.

Chatbot > human being

Think about that for a moment. Not saying it's something good, but that's the direction of where the wind is blowing. Things that might seem odd to people who aren't young, I'm not, might be perfectly natural to today's youngsters. And young people are the future.

In the retirement home the last one interacting with you might not be kids, relatives or friends but software and robots. The warm hand has been replaced by some cold aluminium one. Dark! But it is what it is.

My conviction keeps getting stronger. Tomorrow I'll buy more META $META and Nvidia $NVDA

In many ways yes. I don’t see myself preferring a chatbot, but who knows in the future? I might reasses if they’ll become good enough.

One thing though, it should always be clear and transparent if it’s chatbot or not, never opaque.
