Like religion and politics, money is an emotional topic. People tend to stay entrenched in their world views when these topics come up.

…most people will ignore this information and stick with the devil they know even when that devil is traditional money (that actually isn’t money at all but currency) which is slowly losing purchasing power at the rate of inflation.
