Darshan, fresh out of the success of Kaatera, will begin shooting for Devil - The Hero, directed by Prakash Veer, on March 22. The film's first schedule will take place in Bengaluru. Devil - The Hero is a mass entertainer and marks the second collaboration between Darshan and Prakash Veer. The extended cast of the film has not been revealed. Presented by Jai Matha Combines and produced by J Jayamma and Prakash Veer under Vaishno Studios, the film will have Sudhakar S Raj as the cinematographer. Music composer Ajaneesh Loknath will handle the music, with the audio rights secured by Saregama.
