The average individual will never self custody their #Bitcoin or run a node.

They’ll allocate a % of their IRA/401K to it and leave it there in the bank/fund not thinking twice about it.

It won’t be until there is solvency issues or paper Bitcoin/re-hypothecation drama that they will wake up.

& by then it will be too late.

Maybe it won’t matter and it will be safe. But why take the chance?
