Videogames can elicit strong emotions in people.
Some even say that, extremely rarely, a person may even fall in love while playing a videogame. Has a videogame character ever made you feel love?

Kogan "Giant Slayer", my best captain of the guard in Dwarf Fortress.
She was a soldier in my first fortress, helped dispatch 2 forgotten beasts, she lost her husband for one of them but managed to land the killing blow.
Eventually i retired the fortress and started a new one, she appeared in one of the earlier waves of migrants with her daughter and i put her as the Captain of the Guard, her squad of 8 dwarfs were the best, killing 3 forgotten beasts and 2 giants, one of the giant she single handed killed after saving a child, the giant hopped over my walls into my pastures were a child was attending some animals, she was the only one nearby and without getting hit once she killed the giant (with the help of a very angry goose), she gained the pseudonym "Giant Slayer" after that.
She then created a artifact, a steel amulet with the image of her, her child and her late husband embracing.
She died during a brawl in the tavern, one drunk dwarf started punching others and a riot started, she tried to stop them but was fatally wounded, the hospital was overcrowded, all the beds were taken, she died in the hospital corridor waiting for help.
Legit felt bad for several days.
