I was researching Bernard de Clairvaux quite passionately some years ago. I was especially intrigued by his vow of poverty. That's one path to wealth. For everything else... there's bitcoin. π€

I like what Jesus advised:
Mark 6:7-9
Mar 6:7-9 KJV βΒΆ And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;
8. And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse:
9. But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.β

Once we are saved in his blood we don't need anything. We still do the normal things but we don't need anything. We may be rich or poor by Providence and as the mission requires.
Since I stopped worrying about that stuff I still do pray to have my goals met if they are aligned with Christ's.

Philippians 4:13
Phili 4:13 KJV βI can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.β
