The #Hindenburg_Omen (HO) last flashed on 9/8, 9/11, and 9/12 (1 week ago). Since then, I've been gradually shorting Mega Cap stocks with broken charts. However, I waited until today to short an index: I just bought a 3/4 position in $SQQQ at $19, similar to what I did almost 2 years ago (as per my 11/22/2021 10:32 AM EST @stocktwits post). The #Nasdaq hit an all-time high (at 16,212) on that day.

There is a study by @McClellanOsc, along with a chart, showing that all crashes and severe declines between '84 and '14 were preceded by the HO.

The HO has a success rate of approximately 25% for major crashes, as noted by @srussolillo in 2010 and 2014 WSJ articles (which I have backtested and confirmed).

More recent crashes (in '15, '16, '20, and '21) were also preceded by the HO, but it's essential to note that sometimes the HO misfires.
