I have a total of 3 firearms and I've become very good at running and maintaining them.

- EDC: Sig P365XL

- Warbelt/nightstand: Glock 17 MOS Gen 5

- Rifle: Q Honey Badger SD

I don't recommend going deep into the prepper or gun guy scene; it's a mostly a time suck that dilutes your focus elsewhere.

Instead, get just the basics and become dangerously comfortable with them. Depth not breadth. Not here.

What are your thoughts on optics for EDC pistol? When deciding on a platform is that something to consider? I'd also be interested in your preferred concealed carry position, if you don't mind sharing? It is time for me to start prioritizing this more.

Too many putting the cart before the horse. Learn to shoot with sights. Put a thousand hours in with sights. Then try a red dot.
