It's always the same identity on that device. If you sign in from a different browser or a different device, it's a different identity. If you clear your browser, storage or local cache, then your identity goes with it. This can be fixed in the future. With true nostr integration.
We will be adding a way to search for rooms that are advertised via nostr as well as adding popular rooms to the homepage at some point.

yeah. like with lightning where you can sign a message and you get logged in that way.
signing messages should be also possible with a nostr keypair.
