Savings is a useful tool, but it's a terrible master. Greed is still a vice and an addiction.
Not as bad under Bitcoin, but still a danger.

Greed has negative consequences under a fiat system, but the incentive is actually quite good in bitcoin, since your hoard of cash decreed or increases in value, respectively.
Bitcoin does (or will) heal a lot of the other motives of greed, though, since you can't print it and thus can't fractionally lend it, but I won't say it solves avarice, since that's a human heart issue.
Generally, I agree with this. But hoarding is only one way greed can manifest. Greed can also take the form of bad business leaders treating employees unfairly, wrecklessly chasing profit, or just straight up fraud.
Itβll happen significantly less in a bitcoin standard, but not zero.
Greed is great. It can drive massive progress. It's when greed is accompanied by fraud, force, or deception when it caused destruction. Such is the case in the current diat system.
Greed and addictions are sins that separate one from God.
