Check the user interface. Every ubuntu Linux will work with Minecraft and similar out of the box but the environment could be challenging for some.

That's true, but not in our case. They have a couple of years already on Linux.

So not an issue. My kids are on win10 for school and mint for the rest

Mine came from MacOS. Elementary was their first Linux, but only for a short period of time. They discovered that desktops could be different and started experimenting 🙃

When talking about ricing, I've already lost. And my oldest is already trying to break my parental control set up. The immutable nature of fedora silverblue has been quite good at protecting it. Nevertheless, requirements change and now it's becoming more of an obstacle rather than a help.

Same here. I will probably setup an old school timer to just turn off power to the entire system after midnight.

Haha that's my plan as well. Maybe we should just do it.
