what are you identifying as "common knowledge"? I am very curious...

btw, congrats on being the ONLY "#christian" on nostr to respond with even a single word on what is undoubtedly a very important issue currently... with the west being invaded by muslims and all...

gee - i wonder if the apathy and apparent complete cuckery of the so-called christians has anything at all to do with the state of things in the west?

a good hard look in the mirror is in order for the "christians".

#neoplatonic grafting seems to have its own set of problems doesnt it?

The fact that Islam is a heretical cult of Christianity would seem to be common knowledge to me, or at least ought to be. In addition to denying the Trinity you also have their iconoclasm. The first Sunday of every Lent we remember the triumph of Orthodoxy over the iconoclasts, who were influenced by Islam. This is a history we relive every year. The battles against heretics like Arius, Nestorius, &c. are relived every time we recite the Creed. We should understand the histories that produced these gems of our faith so that we may avoid falling into error ourselves.

Also, you have works like "The heresy of the Ishmaelites" by St. John of Damascus.

But yeah, unfortunate that I'm the only response

thanks for sharing...

it is not at all common knowledge in the christian west... but then again neither is basic biology.

Why don't you think it's all that common? It isn't like the West haven't had to directly fight off the Ottomans and such

well firstly I know for a fact that it is NOT at all common. and just because fighting invader enemy last aeon does not mean they know or even knew that MHMD translates to "messiah".

not 1/100 western christians have ever heard of this proposition.

at any rate, the reason, in large part anyway, I would wager you have already seen.

just look at the engagement.
