I do actually think you could have text-based dungeon crawler games, interactive stories, puzzle games. And if the puzzles / storylines / writing were good enough it could be quite a hit, (in a niche way obvs).
Perhaps would need a custom client like nym.bar to do this, or a client that listed all the games/puzzles/stories/alt-lit etc options available like some sort of bitchat game steam store.
There's an idea for someone lol.
