So far, he's been scraping Nostr users posts and feeding them into a Microsoft / OpenAI "moderation api".

If Microsoft gives the thumbs down to your note, Rabble's bot sends out an automated complaint. Like an automated DRM takedown, but with no teeth.

Some relays will delete notes based on complaints, but other than his own relay i dont think anyone paid attention to the bot.

I think he's taken it down for now, he wants paid staff to supervise it but hasn't found the right investor.

something i wish the rockstar devs of nostr would finna grasp - DMs are not public, application specific data is not public, stop FUCKNIG BLASTRING IT

and start having some notion of the distinction, ffs, man, they don't even get why authentication matters, yeah, this is a next step on from it so i'm not gonna hold my breath... instead i'm building better solutions that actually understand the fucking semantics of this system

It's the most publicly-accessible SM data possible, as of now. Don't even need a web browser or API to access it. Just a command line.

Therefore, nobody can make money selling it to third parties, as third parties have direct access.

well... we are working on building storage back-end integrations and business oriented deployments of nostr... auth is critical to paid relays and controlling access to private relay clusters
