The lesson of the #blocksize #conflict two cycles ago was: we the node operators control the #Bitcoin protocol - not the miners.

Any protocol or #PoW algorithm change would have to be approved by a supermajority of the node operators to be included in Bitcoin - not by Luke DashJr and his supporters.

As abrasive and undiplomatic as he is in general, he turned out to be right during the #UASF era, and seems to be on the right track now. Even his proposal to reduce the blocksize has merit enough to be seriously considered.

You're mistaken. It wouldn't require a supermajority. There are two ways it could be done. Nice or nasty..๐Ÿ˜  It could be done today..๐Ÿ‘น

They could try and resist. But ultimately they would have to capitulate. Or be Destroyed!!..๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿฆ
