i was driving to this post by its first pic – i find the idea of “collecting” as a new trend in social networking (as well as curated lists, btw)

your post is mostly about other stuff, but you connect it with the pic by determining zaps as glorified bookmarks – is it really?

for me – it definitely could be, if clients showed the post you zapped in your feed and on your account page

No I’m saying #zap > save. Save is another term for bookmark depending on the app. The og post is probably worded a little confusingly in retrospect so apologies for that
