That's the one false equivalency fallacy I will never buy or help spread.
Communist China is orders of magnitude worse than the USA. They don't drop bombs yet, because they're not there yet. Not because they don't believe in military intervention or because they have some sort of pacifist outlook.
Without dropping bombs they are already embroiled in hard territorial conflicts with every single neighbor they have, and simply bully them into submission. See the officially issued maps by Beijing and they ludicrous claims on waters and islands from their neighbors. Were it not for the presence of the US, they would indeed have acted militarily long ago.
Not to mention the level of internal oppression and suppression. There is no East Turkestan in the US.
I think you read into this meme a little too much. It's purely to illicit the emotion and realization that America is no saint either, despite what the good 'ol boy system and nationalism would have you believe.
If a country as terrible as China, who has literal concentration camps for the Uyghur muslims, are not bombing parts of the world to such a degree as the US, that's quite eye-opening.
The Ukrainian people expressed in a recent Gallup poll that they want the war to end. But the war pigs in the West would rather let innocent people die for their proxy war with Russia than de-escalate it. Pure evil.
It's likely that deep America Americans may need to hear that. But as a European, I have rather been socialized since birth into believing that the US is the Great Satan, so I'm not sure about the universal need for such a realization, and rather think the opposite is required.
For sure, and the meme is not to suggest that America is overall worse than China.
