everyone went to the chinese rednote app and they all said "I will happily give my data to china".
It’s a sign of how much ppl don’t care about privacy and their data.
Having privacy as a main selling point isn’t going to gain mass adoption.
Lol proof that its not about the features, it's just about who can give the opportunity to roll the dice and tap into potential reach and dopamine hits
I told my sister in-law last night to check out primal. She's in advertising for beauty and fitness. She searched "beauty" and got a feed with naked women. Not what she expected/wanted. 😮💨
Hopefully some
Do we know of one new npub from TikTok?
I saw one last night claiming to be, but it seemed fake to me.

I don't see a spike in daily active users and no relays have gone down so I venture to say not many

Not lately. Folks from over there were looking for an app that has video creation tools like TikTok so they mostly moved over to Xiaohongshu / “red note”
Thats short lived. Rednote is already cracking down a lot on what people are posting. Many got banned.
We need more Nostr adoption among the short (attention span) video app people.
Step one: don't.
No one needs that kind of literal brainrot. Video hosting/serving and editing on the fly are way too much for current Nostr infrastructure which is very non-performant at best. There's also the matter of paying for the costs of the hardware back end and bandwidth.
Just say no. Stop worrying about onboarding idiots who are more concerned with their dopamine hits than any sort of sanity let alone privacy. Don't make being stupid easy. Stupid should be hard.
As nice as it would be to see those numbers coming over, I agree. Please focus on long-term quality and not on near-term numbers.
