No one wants this and it has no reason for being other than the fact the surveillance state is concerned they have lost control of Twatter. I assume any proposed Fediverse integration is about scraping data from dissident platforms but I'm borderline illiterate when it comes to tech so I imagine there are other dimensions to this that are far worse than I can imagine.
