I find it great that people have found uses for the heat generated by #mining at home.

That being said, I’ve had the idea of how to combine miners with absorption chillers.

Living in a subtropical climate I don’t need more heat. Give me a way to use my miner to cool my home lol

I believe it can be done im no tech guy but wouldn't it just cost more because now you would need the part to convert the heat into cool air.. ahhh you need a hvac person and a miner to collaborate

That’s the beauty of absorption chillers. They use heat to cool by evaporating a water salt mixture. A condenser & absorber.

The problem with absorption ac is that they are typically very large & only practical in industrial settings with waste heat.

If bitcoin miners could be used to generate that heat & a proper vacuum can be maintained in the system this may allow the units to be sized down & become effective in residential applications.
