I'll give you that, people on the left are generally more interested in facts instead of just running on feelings. I tend to attribute that to the fact that rightwing ideas are generally poorly supported by the available evidence or logically unsound, so people who like evidence tend to realize that and give up many rightwing views. That's why they rail against science and education, the owner class wants you too uneducated to realize you're being lied to so you'll vote against your interests and in favor of theirs.
