It looks beautiful! Sadly, that wouldn't be possible at my school. We have too many classes switching rooms and not enough enforcement of values and norms, so there's a lot of vandalism.

It's sad, but I'm fighting a lost battle alone on a dying hill.

I think I can really understand what you mean, because I used to work at a school in a socially disadvantaged area. I appreciate that things are different at the school where I work now. Many of the students come from homes where they are well taken care of, and they bring that with them in their social behavior at school.

And in turn, we make an effort to strengthen their sense of personal responsibility (which, as a libertarian, is of course totally my topic), for example by letting them help design the rooms, like now for the Christmas celebration. They usually join in with great enthusiasm, and because it’s their own project, there is hardly any vandalism (which also makes perfect sense from a libertarian perspective) 🀍
