What's good today?

One more day above freezing here (barely) then another sub freezing days/nights.

Need to brave the TN roads to grab another load of firewood. We burned through my stockpile way faster than expected with the last cold snap and this second one was not in the forecast the last time I stocked up.

Takeaway from The Daily Stoic today: Be intentional in finding beauty in the ordinary and ugly parts of your world.

It reminds me of the scene in American Beauty when Jane asks Ricky why he filmed a dead bird and he replied "Because it is beautiful."

It is all perspective. Once we start seeing it, then we can work on sharing that beauty with others.
