Realizing most Europeans don't really care/know about European elections and a lot of us don't even vote for it

In addition we have no idea WHAT happens in the EU parliament, most EU countries media is laser focused on national issues

But that lack of focus lets the EU government pass consistently crazier laws that turn EU into a second class market to do business in

Imagine a US where ppl only care about your state's elections/government while the real power lies with the federal government passing crazy laws, that's the EU right now!"

My reply:

For many people it's easier and actually more rational to simply move our business outside of EU.

This is a common mistake by politicians. They believe they write the rules and everyone complies. But in reality, we are in the world supermarket and we shop for the best target market. Why waste our time with politics when we can simply build the business out of the EU and thrive?

Sadly, EU residents don't understand that this hurts them and their quality of life first and foremost.
