Me too. After 2008 I rabbit holed how money is created, the goldsmiths tale and the Rothschild banking dynasty. Felt pretty hopeless about it all. 2013 came across BTC, summarily dismissed it thinking banks would kill it because you can’t do fractional reserve with a fixed supply. Watched IBM try to put a fence around blockchain with the hyperledger. Moved on with my life until 2020, shitcoined a bit, then I dove in and started reading everything I could get my hands on. Bitcoin continues to reveal its secrets through the amazing and generous work of so many here. Thank you all, this bitcoin life gives me hope. I run my own node, have spun up LN and open channels, still learning about liquidity management. My fav pods are RHR and TFTC.
