Back in the day it used to happen, when you mentioned a user in somebody elses DMs. Now that tagging is not doable in DMs, then I’m not sure of what’s causing it 🤔

You can still easily make this happen.

If you zap or like my DM on Amethyst, then on Damus it appears as a notification, which I can then quote.
