I can get why most people in finance sector don’t want to change.
They’ve spent years on a degree.
That’s all they know.
That’s likely what they invested in the most.
If suddenly this all gets exposed, they will have to find a better job to benefit society, which is probably a scary thought to them
Imagine learning that society is based on bs fundamentals and just about everything is touched by this bs. Then you hear about this one thing that changes everything and flips the incentive systems upside down to actually work for people. Then you realize everything you learned is bs, and chances are 90% of that other thing you learned is bs too because people are mostly bsing through life. You know nothing but that's how you make a living, peddling the bs you were taught. What do you do? You have to start from square 0 and relearn everything you think you understood.
This. This is why I have gone down rabbit hole after rabbit hole. Why I look at the world completely differently now. You can see all the bs dots and how they are connected. Once you see the truth, you can’t stop. You feel like everyone is talking a completely different language. That people all around you are brainwashed or delusional. It’s a very lonely place. But it’s a path you don’t want to divert from and you just keep going
