📱 Goodbye Google as we know it?

Google is in court, an anti-trust lawsuit.

Several Justice Department lawyers argue that Google should not only sell its Chrome browser, but also break it up into smaller pieces.

Selling Chrome is for one simple reason:

It is a way to keep millions of users tied not only to their browser, but also to their search engine and associated tools.

But here comes the best part: What about Android?

Well, while they won't get rid of Android, they do want to do something: Separate Android from the rest of Google products.

Basically, they would force Google services and other apps like YouTube, Maps, etc. to be installed separately.

If this were the case, people would have a totally clean Android by default in some cases (at the expense of what each manufacturer introduces)

Perhaps better times are coming when it will be easier to use Android without having to rely on Google services.
