Will signing devices or security keys ever become a thing for using with Nostr, at least optionally? What is best practice for storing nsec?

nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z was looking into it. i'm also looking into it. if yubikey and opensource authentication keys are a viable option it would be a huge win for #nostr privacy and security for the users of the client that implements it. no more dependency on browser-based signer extensions like nos2x (chromium only) and especially alby etc

In time, yes. It is going to take some effort to create a good hardware for Nostr.

awesome to hear you say that. so totally worth it

Would it be feasible to implement using a Yubikey/Nitrokey/other physical keys with nsecbunker?
