public statements sometimes work better because many partners want to see a public position .. for example India doesn't want to go with China in the currency race but they are being coerced because their dependence on Russia ( for oil) and China ( trade deficit) ..

Such an open position by US would help Modi nip the evil in the budget :-)

Perhaps true, but then again the DOJ just targeted Gautam Adani a staunch Modi ally. Trump will need to reverse that.

Absolutely .. It is such a sham :-) .. When Hindenberg couldn't force Adani (hence Modi) into submission , they have started another one ... I mean even if an Indian company paid bribe to Indian officials , what is there for US DoJ to investigate ..lol .. this is called globalist policing .. Clearly motive is something else .. a political agenda ..
